La Luna is a beautiful, comfortable and clean cabin with a gracious host. We loved the views, building a fire and relaxing in the hot tub while star gazing. It was also a hit with our dog! We will be back and highly recommend the property!

What a beautiful place! We loved this peaceful cabin. The hosts did an amazing job stocking the place. We had everything we needed. The Hot Tub was already heated when we got there and has an amazing view. Its very private but also close to town.

Get Away From it All in Wimberley

Wimberley is located in a valley on the edge of the Texas Hill Country only 30 miles south of Austin and 45 miles north of San Antonio. Known for it’s natural beauty, Wimberley’s town motto is “A Little Piece of Heaven” and that is exactly what you will find at Buffalo Bend Cabins. You will see deer, squirrels and fox from your cabin’s porch, or any time you are able to get outside. Cedar, Live Oaks and other trees cover the yard so you feel as if you are deep in a forest, but you are within five minutes of the quaint town square and civilization full of shopping, dining, wineries, and fun. There is so much going on in Wimberley during all times of years, from art festivals and Market Days to Holiday Celebrations such as the Trail of Lights and Fourth of July Parade.

My husband and I had a great experience at El Sol!! The photos don’t do the cabin justice. It is so lovely, and had everything we needed to make the most of our trip. We made good use of the grill and well stocked kitchen to cook up meals that we enjoyed while looking out onto the beautiful hill country views. The grounds are stunning…. Very scenic and quiet.

“My husband and I were looking for a relaxing weekend in the Hill Country and that is what we got. Everything was perfect – and Wimberley was so much fun. We can’t wait to come back to Buffalo Bend” ~
